bKash, Nagad, Rocket Tracker: One App to Manage All Mobile Wallets

14 May 20265 min read

Bangladesh leads the world in mobile financial services (MFS) adoption. The average urban professional uses 2–4 mobile wallets alongside a bank account — bKash for sending money, Nagad for government payments, Rocket for utility bills, and a savings account at Sonali or Dutch-Bangla.

The problem? Each wallet shows you only its own balance. There's no single screen that says “here's your total net worth across every payment rail.”

Moneybag = one dashboard for every wallet

Moneybag treats every payment source as a wallet. Add as many as you need. Each transaction lives under one wallet, and the dashboard shows your total balance auto-converted to your primary currency.

  • bKash — log send-money / cash-out / merchant payments.
  • Nagad — government salary, utility bill payments.
  • Rocket — DBBL mobile wallet transactions.
  • Upay, SureCash, MyCash — any MFS, just add it.
  • Banks — Sonali, Dutch-Bangla, Brac, City — pre-filled presets.
  • Cash — physical cash on hand.
  • Foreign wallets — Wise, Payoneer, Qatar bank, Saudi bank — multi-currency.

How wallet tracking works in Moneybag

  1. Tap Profile → Wallets → Add wallet.
  2. Pick a preset (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, etc.) or type a custom name.
  3. Set the current balance and currency.
  4. Add transactions and pick the source wallet from a dropdown.
  5. The dashboard auto-aggregates totals across all wallets.

Smart features only Moneybag has

  • Inter-wallet transfers — moved ৳5,000 from bKash to your bank? Record it as a transfer (audit-tracked, doesn't double-count).
  • Wallet adjustments — your bKash balance shows ৳200 less than the app says? Adjust it with a one-tap audit entry.
  • Wallet-level reports — see which wallet you spend most from.
  • Multi-currency conversion — your Qatar bank in QAR auto-converts to BDT on the dashboard.

FAQ

Does Moneybag auto-import bKash transactions?+

Not yet — MFS providers in Bangladesh don't offer public APIs. You add transactions manually (quick-chips make it 2 taps), or import a CSV export from your wallet's web portal.

Can I track multiple bKash accounts?+

Yes — add as many wallets as you want, each with its own name (e.g. 'bKash Personal', 'bKash Business').

What about Sonali Bank or Dutch-Bangla?+

Add any bank account as a wallet. We have presets for major Bangladeshi banks built in.
